Professor Vicente is a seasoned professional with large experience in teaching kids and adults.

He started teaching Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu as a purple belt (still in Brazil) and has been teaching ever since. Additional to his role as a Professor, he is also an active competitor and referee. He is amongst a very small group of international IBJJF certified referees working in competition in Canada, USA and Brazil.

His main achievements as a competitor are the Master South American, the Brazilian Nationals No-Gi, three times the AJP Canadian National Pro, the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam in Rio de Janeiro, silver medal in the European, and 15+ IBJJF OPEN gold medals in Brazil, Canada, and USA.

In his life off the mats, Professor Vicente holds a Master's Degree in Mathematics, worked as a Professor for a renowned university in Brazil, is married to Cristiane an father of the 15 year old Elanor.
